Media Café offers a range of learning opportunities focussing on ICT, new media and the creative and cultural sector. Details of these opportunities are listed in the subsections of this, the Learning section of the site.

All of the learning opportunities offered by Media Café allow users to make use of additional, complementary support services that are designed to help learners optimise benefit from the project's learning opportunities. They are particularly useful to people who may face barriers in participating in mainstream learning opportunities. Details of these support services are detailed in the Support sub-section.

Since one of the overarching purposes of the learning opportunities provided at Media Café is to increase the employability and educational attainment of local people and people from socially excluded groups, the project also runs specific provision for people training or re-training for work in the media, cultural industries and sports sectors. To this end, the services provided by Media Café are geared towards meeting these aims.

All of these services are offered free of charge to local people meeting target user criteria. Other people are welcome to join Media Café or make use of services by paying fees.

These fees are charged in accordance with the adult education rates of the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham.
